Courts disband Thailand’s ruling party

Today, the courts dissolved the PPP (People Power Party) banning their leaders from politics for five years. Tourists and foreigners hope this will open the airports or move in that direction.

he reality is that the airorts won’t empty of the protesters anytime soon. Somchai, the current pm, will leave office, but the party has a back up plan to make a new party. This marks the second time in under two yers that the party affiliated with ousted pm Thaksin has been undone. In this political game of chess, we’ll see what comes next.

 

Keep praying for the Thai people as they are the one’s who suffer as the economy and their country’s reputation will take a sharp down turn this next year.
